Brand Portraits
At Tangerine Studios, we create brand portraits that feel like you. No stiff poses. No awkward moments. Just honest, soulful storytelling that celebrates the people behind the brand.

Why You Need Brand Portraits

We work with small businesses, handmade sellers, and passionate entrepreneurs who pour their hearts into everything they do. Our portraits highlight quality craftsmanship; whether it’s hands at work, quiet moments in the studio, or the buzz of a creative space.
Even if you hate having your photo taken (you’re not alone!), brand portraits matter. Why? Because people connect with people. Your customers want to see the face behind the work. They want to know who you are, what motivates you, and what makes your process special. A genuine, relaxed portrait helps build trust and connection in a way that words alone can’t.
Every session is easygoing, guided, and designed to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. No pressure. Nothing too 'corporate'. Just real moments that tell your story with warmth and soul.
-
On-Location Sessions: Capture your workspace, workshop, or shop. Showcasing your craft in its natural setting.

-

Product & Detail Shots: Close-ups of your handmade goods or workspace details to complement your portraits.

Can I be in the photos with my pet?Absolutely! Whether you want portraits of your pet alone or candid shots with you both, we tailor the session to your requirements.
-
Where do the pet portrait sessions take place? We're based near to Market Harborough on the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire border. Close to popular rural locations such as East Carlton Park, Fermyn Woods and Twywell. We also offer sessions on location throughout the UK, whether that’s your home, a favourite park, a stable yard, or a scenic outdoor spot. We’ll help you pick a location that suits your pet’s personality. Additional travel fees may apply if outside the local area.
-
What if my pet isn’t cooperative or camera-shy?Well, we can relate to that. We work with your pet at their pace, giving them space and time to warm up. We’re experienced with animals of all temperaments and focus on capturing their true personality. Even if that means chaotic zoomies or a nap in the middle of the shoot.
-
What types of animals do you photograph? We love working with all kinds of pets. From dogs and cats to horses and ponies. We’re also happy to photograph more unconventional pets like tortoises, snakes, or birds, as long as it’s safe and comfortable for everyone involved. If you have a unique companion, just get in touch, and we’ll discuss how we can make it work.
-
When will I receive my images? After the session, we carefully select and professionally edit your images. You can expect your final gallery within 2–3 weeks, delivered digitally.
-
Do I need permission to shoot at a stable yard or riding school?Yes, it’s important to have permission from the landowner or stable manager before the shoot. We always make sure this is arranged in advance as respecting the space and rules of the venue is important to us. If you haven’t secured permission yet, we’re happy to help guide you so everything runs smoothly on the day.
-
What should I wear for my brand shoot?Ultimately, we always recommend wearing outfits that feel like you. Something that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and in line with your brand aesthetic. We’ll chat through outfit ideas during the planning stage and can also offer guidance on styling if needed.
-
Is this a traditional corporate headshot session? Not at all. While our portraits are polished and professional, they’re designed to feel authentic, creative, and relaxed. Not stiff or overly formal. This isn’t about grey backdrops and forced smiles... it’s about capturing you in your element, with natural light, movement and oodles of personality.
-
Can I use the photos for social media and my website?Yes! Your package includes full commercial usage rights, meaning you can use your shiny new portraits across all platforms. Instagram, LinkedIn, Etsy, websites, email marketing, printed materials etc. With no hidden licensing fees.
-
How many people can be included in a brand portrait session? Our standard sessions are ideal for solo entrepreneurs, creatives, and freelancers, but we can absolutely accommodate teams too. If you’re looking for team headshots or lifestyle-style team photos, just let us know what you have in mind and we'll tailor a quote.
-
Can I choose the location for my shoot?Absolutely! The shoot is all about reflecting your brand. We’ll help you brainstorm and source the right space. Perhaps your workspace, a rented studio or a charming outdoor spot. If location hire is needed, we’ll discuss costs and availability during the planning phase.
-
Where do you shoot brand portrait sessions? We’re based on the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire border (close to Market Harborough) but we shoot UK-wide. Whether you want portraits in your studio, a local café, or an outdoor space, we’re happy to travel to where your story is best told. Please bear in mind that travel costs may apply for locations outside our local area. Just contact us today for a tailored quote.
-
How many images do I get? You’ll receive 15–20 fully edited, high-resolution images, handpicked for variety and quality. We curate the selection to ensure a cohesive set that reflects your brand best.
-
How long does it take to receive our photos?Typically, you’ll receive your full gallery of edited images within 5 to 7 working days for Mini and Family Sessions, and about 10 to 14 days for Newborn and Maternity Sessions, as they require a bit more time to ensure every detail is just right.
-
What is a family lifestyle session?A family lifestyle session is all about capturing your family naturally. No stiff poses or forced smiles. We focus on real moments, movement, and connection, encouraging laughter, play, and genuine interaction.
-
What happens during a newborn session?Newborn sessions are calm and unhurried, lasting 3 to 4 hours. We let your baby settle naturally and capture those precious early moments. Tiny details, sleepy cuddles, and sweet family connections. There’s no rushing, and plenty of breaks for feeding or soothing.
-
When are Mini Sessions held, and how can I book?Mini Sessions are special 30-minute shoots we run at certain times of the year, often tied to the seasons or holidays. Keep an eye on our social media channels for announcements and booking details. They are very limited and tend to fill up quickly.
-
Can I include pets in the session?Absolutely! We love including pets — they’re part of your family story. Just let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
-
Do you provide prints or albums? We focus primarily on delivering high-resolution digital images as we know that everyone's tastes are different when it comes to framing and wall art presentation. But we’re happy to recommend trusted local printers or help you design beautiful albums and prints as a separate service.
-
How does the post-and-shoot service work? Our post-and-shoot service makes things easy. Simply ship your products to us, and we'll handle the rest — from styling and shooting to post-production edits. Once the photos are ready, we’ll send them to you digitally, and you can choose whether to have your products returned (for a small fee) or stored for future shoots.
-
Can I get my products back after the shoot?Absolutely. We’re happy to return your products after the shoot. Just let us know at the time of booking or once the shoot is complete, and we’ll arrange the return shipping. Additional shipping fees may apply.
-
What file formats do I receive? You’ll receive high-resolution JPEGs suitable for web and print. If you need specific file types (like PNG), just let us know in advance.
-
What types of products do you photograph? We cover a wide range of products — from small items like jewellery and cosmetics to apparel, home goods, health supplements, beverages and more. If you're unsure whether your product is a good fit, feel free to contact us!
-
How do I book a session? You can reach out via our contact form, email, or social media to discuss your project. We’ll provide a custom quote and timeline based on your needs.
-
How long does it take to receive my photos?Turnaround time is typically 5–10 business days, depending on the scope of your project.
-
Do you edit the photos?Yes! All images are professionally edited to ensure they’re crisp, clean, and on-brand. This includes colour correction, background removal (if requested), and light retouching.
-
Can I request a specific style or background?Of course. We’ll collaborate with you to understand your brand’s aesthetic and match your preferred look. You can provide sample images, mood boards, or style guides.
-
What if I’m not satisfied with the images?Client satisfaction is very important to us. If there’s something you’re unhappy with, we’ll do our best to revise it. For major reshoots due to miscommunication, additional fees may apply — but we always aim to get it right the first time.
